M2sat BGAN Responder: a broadband office in a TakeAway terminal
Based on the Inmarsat BGAN system this M2sat TakeAway system provides basic voice and fax services along with a shared IP-Connectivity of up to 492 kbps (shared). The unit comes complete with Wifi Acces point, Voice handsets in a ruggedised case.
The terminal can be deployed in a very short time, and has a coverage area that already covers a large part of the land part of the earth and that is expanding globally in the coming year.
M2sat microVidCon Responder: Take Away mobile office extended with video capabilities
The M2sat microVC combines the BGAN features with an integrated, Tandberg Video Conferencing unit and worldwide connectivity to more then 15.000 terrestrial Tandberg video conference units. The M2sat microVC provides international travellers, VIPs, managers and remote teams with a versatile, compact TakeAway package for videoconferencing, video, data and IP connectivity. Fast Respons Teams can now be connected with the headquarters any time on any medium with unprecedented speed. Just plug in your laptop, microphone and camera and you are in touch.
M2sat Responder384: TakeAway Broadband Office on Thuraya
The M2sat Responder384 is a portable communications hub for government or corporate customers providing an instant solution for a (temporary) remote office or headquarters including a full range of communication facilities. Main different with the BGAN Responder is that it support bitrates up to 384 kbps via the Thuraya satellite. The unit has a rapid deployment of less then half an hour, and supports voice, fax, video conferencing and data services with speeds up to 384 kbps from anywhere within the M2sat footprint covering Europe, North Africa, the Middle East, Central and South Asia. The coverage will extend significantly in 2008 when the whole of Asia will be covered in addition.
M2sat FlyAway Responder
The FlyAway Responder offers comes in a transport case suitable for rough operating conditions,
together with a range of portable Ku-band antennas. Carried by hand, it can be rapidly deployed and
operated by a single person. The satellite terminal supports broadband services via the Eutelsat fleet of satellites with data rates between
384 kbps at the edge of coverage up to 1 Mbps at the centre of the satellite beam. Both AC and DC power
options are available, DC allowing battery operations. The satellite terminal offers 2 Ethernet interfaces
and the built-in DHCP Server simplifies the connection of a laptop, PC or LAN. Unit can be deployed anywhere under the footprint of the Eutelsat fleet of satellite, from S-America on to Asia.
M2sat VehicleResponder
The M2sat VehicleResponder provides the same office, video and broadband functionality of the other Responder units but now from a vehicle based system that can provide services upt 10 Mbps. Optionally the vehicle can be equiped with a remote controlled uplink facility to establish the connection with the satellite.
