Cost savings by optimising satellite connections and video encoding
System displays video / still picture material to standard web browser
| The live video feeds and still pictures can be viewed from any PC with a standard internet browser that is connected to the corporate Intranet or the public Internet. When authorised, viewers can even remote control the on-board camera from their browser. The Video Server can automatically display still pictures from vessels on any webpage, be it an internal overview page or on the company's home page. Shipping companies can set the timing of frequency the pictures are taken. |

Shipping companies have full control over system
| Via the management modules in the video server, shipping companies have full control over who can view what material and for how long. Individual users can given rights to access vessels and camera's, use the remote control for it, and can be given a maximum time e.g. to manage the involved satellite connection costs. Privacy is an important feature of the system too and all connections are fully secure. |
