M2sat offers an unique portfolio of Thuraya broadband services up to 384 kbps from small and portable satellite terminals. Currently available in Europe, Africa, Middle East and Near Asia, but from 2008 also in the rest of Asia.
Occasional Use services
M2sat 384 kbps Occasional Use services can be booked via the M2sat booking office.
The booking procedure is comparable to the Occasional Use procedures for
Ku-band capacity for SNG's. Bookings can be made within 4 hours. Main advantage
of Occasional Use is the guaranteed availability of the requested bandwidth
that ensures timely communication with headquarters and the delivery of
the your data, audio or video material e.g. back to the news room.
M2sat Lease Channels
Lease Channels provide customers with 384 kbps mobile broadband services on
a 7 x 24 hour basis the same way as Leased Lines in the terrestrial network, but then via the Thuraya satellite.

Service features:
-M2sat Lease Channels are available per Thuraya spot beam for a fixed lease
period.
-Leased Channels support a bandwidth up to 384 kbps.
-Within the Lease Channel all M2sat services are available to the end-user
in the field
-Mobile-to-mobile, Mobile-to-ISDN and Mobile-to-Internet connections are
supported.
-M2sat.NET supports the sharing of the M2sat Lease Channel by multiple terminals.
-Customised solutions, applications and managed network services can be
made available.
