SATstreamer RENTAL unit
Occasional use satellite uplink facilities for broadcasters and event organisers

For customers that need to stream an event only a few times per year, M2sat has the SNGstreamer Rental Unit available on a per day basis. M2sat will take care of the satellite bandwidth connection and end-to-end video link. The video crew at the event location only has to plug in their camera and audio equipment to start the live transmission directly into a (traditional) TV channel, news show or an IP TV channel.

Sponsored events go online with M2sat SNGstreamer
With the accelerating growth of the number of TV and IP TV channels the demand for cost effective video quality content grows as well. Live coverage of all types of sports, cultural, political or religious events is one way how event and TV producers are working to meet that challenge. Streaming the event live on TV or the web attracts corporate sponsors and allows a new business model for the event.

Was llive streaming untill recently not possible due to the prohibitive costs of a dedicated IP connection at the event location, Light satellite uplinking systems like the M2sat SATstreamer however provide a cost effective solution. Based on the latest H.264 and satellite equipment technology, and using dedicated bandwidth from the (remote) event location, cost reductions starting from 50% are realised when compared with traditional SNG solutions. As a result more and more events organisers and corporate sponsor take the opportunity to put the event on TV or online as a powerfull marketing tool.

M2sat SNGstreamer system extension
Over the last year M2sat saw demand for the SNGstreamer from growing, not only in the broadcast market but also from the corporate and government market. As a result of that M2sat introduced a number of SNGstreamer extensions to provide a better match with customer requirements:
* SATstreamer Rental Unit (see above)
* SNGstreamer FlyAway
* FlyStreamer
* FlexStreamer

SNGstreamer FlyAway
Global mobility for broadcasters, SNG teams and even producers

The M2sat SNGstreamer system is now available in a fly away version allowing broadcasters and sport event production companies to take the system along in airplanes. The FlyAway system has the "easy to operate" philosophy of the SNGstreamer with the antenna's remote controlled for the satellite line up to eliminate the need for a satcom engineer with the unit.

FLYstreamer
For a specific live video application in a corporate network, we packed our downlink station in a FlyAway unit as well.

FLyStream is a fully mobile solution where not only the uplink works from any lcoation with a line of sight to the satellite, but also the downlink system. The system is ideal for temporary requirements in the corporate or government market e.g. for the remote monitoring of events.

FLEX
streamer
Future proof and flexibitility in the choice of DVB-S and DVB-S2 transmission schemes, IP or data connections and MPEG-2 or MPEG-4 video links

The FlexStreamer system is developed to make the SNGstreamer compatible with DVB-S and DVB-S2 transmission standards and in particular to make it flexible and future proof. The FlexStreamer supports both IP and data connecitons for MPEG-2 as well as MPEG-4 video uplinks, and is ideal for broadcasters that want to stay compatible with their existing infrastructure now and in the future and still have the advantages of a low cost system using H.264.
