StreamingAnywhere is a new service that provides event organisers, streaming video providers, video production companies and media facility companies with an end to end solution to stream Live Video from any location in Europe directly to the internet.

SNGstreamer changes way of working in Sveriges Television (SVT) regional TV stations
With the introduction of the SNGstreamer units in the 12 regional TV stations of SVT the way of working to produce local TV programs has changed dramatically.
Says Ander Hoog (responsible for the introduction of the system): "It really changed the way you can be in a location, TV is now much more closer to the viewer then before, and this is also good public relations for SVT. You have the SVT logo out that people recognise. Even with a relatively small event, SVT is there , broadcasting live."

Anders Hoog sees the main advantage of the system with being able to get news scoops and to report breaking news stories now with live TV reports: "most important was when SVT news executives found out that it takes only very little time to be at the news location. This means SVT can become the first to have the news.
Some time ago we had an armed robbery back on the border to Norway, maybe 150 km away. It took the team 2 hours to be on the spot and then we started streaming also down the web. We then were the first media company in Sweden to have live pictures. We were even earlier then Aftenblatt which is the largest newspaper in Sweden, that had no pictures at all. We had streaming video, even before they got still images on their website."
New : M2sat SATstreamer rental unit
At IBC2008 M2sat will introduce it's new rental service based on the SATstreamer platform. The unit can be used for Satellite News Gathering and Live Event streaming and is available on a per day basis.
The rental unit is also part of a new complete Live Streaming service that is developed with a number of partners and that offers a one stop shop package the offers everything from camera work, uplinking, video encoding, webdesign and distribution of the stream directly on the web.
M2sat SATstreamer Uplink Rental provides satellite news gatherers, media and facility companies or event organisers a vehicle based IP-Video uplink system, that can be rented on a per day basis. As “light uplinking system” the Satstreamer Unit can provide temporary uplinks for high quality live video contributions for the coverage of breaking news or sport, political, cultural or business events anywhere in Europe.

New M2sat TempConnect service

The TempConnect service provides event organisers with a dedicated two way broadband Internet connection via satellite for news, sport, cultural, political or religious events in Germany, the Benelux and the UK.
The service works from a fixed 1,2 meter antenna installed at the event location and is available on a per event basis and can provide a dedicated service up to 2 Mbps duplex .
